   that mintos and diet coke bomb thing is so fake their shooting the boddles with a rifle i tried that at home and it dident work it worked well after the 7mm went through it but its fake and i just wanted to bring that to everyones attation ITS FAKE DONT BOTHER TRYING IT UNLESS YOUR GOING TO SHOOT IT and i think ull need somthing bigger then a pellet gun a .22lr would work though i just used a 7mm because it was handy. , thats the only way it will explod with that much force

   thanks , it pissed me off to try that and have it not to work when i was out there trying it with all my buddies and it didet work after i told them all how huge the explosion will be and it wouldent go untill i shot it with a heavy caliber rifle by the way that bullet cost me a dollar and i cant find reloading stuff for a 7mil so i need to buy them new!

   I didn't try it because I know it won't work. Chris mentioned that they use a bit of movie magic to make the explosions. Coke and Mentos just doesn't have the power to do it.

    yea i tried the shit and it didnt work, then resulted in baseball bats and golf clubs. . . . . and some baking soda and vinagar bombs . . . . . good thing i got it all on camera check out youtube.com/phatballerz and our episode 1 comments are apprechieated cuz we need ideas on wat to do next.

    A friend of mine and I tried it with a .5 litre Cola light and half a pack of mentos with the paper still around the mentos. We threw it away and as it landed, it kinda blew. As we recovered the bottle we could see the paper that had once been around the mentos was now stuck in the bottle, it had actually cut through the plastic of the bottle because of the explosion!

     We never got to try it with a larger bottle though.
